The marketing firm Relay Worldwide called on SIA Interactive to develop a traveling promotion for its client AT&T. The solution developed by SIA, a Soccer Game with Bluetooth Technology, will be visiting cities across the United States throughout the year.

With the goal of promoting its brand, increasing sales and showing consumers the advantage of AT&T over its competitors, the telecommunications firm AT&T hired SIA Interactive to do a promotion that will be visiting different U.S. cities through the end of the year.

Since its implementation, the promotion has been a true sensation, attracting crowds of participants who come to play the game and get to know the new AT&T products and their features.

Bluetooth Penalty Shots with Bluetooth
In response to the client’s needs, SIA Interactive developed Soccer Penalty Shots with Bluetooth Technology for two players. Participants decide whether to be the goalie or the player who takes the shot, and using a cell phone keyboard, they decide which direction to kick the ball or which side to go to block the shot.
Once the players make their choices, the shot is shown on a plasma screen and viewers see whether or not the “kicker” makes the goal. Each pair of players has three chances to make or block the shot; the best of the two players takes home the prize.
