November 2008 – Lima, Peru.

At the 17th Congress for Human Resources Administration of Peru organized by the firm Seminarium at Hotel Los Delfines in the city of Lima, SIA Interactive Peru was asked to come up with an interactive solution that would get conference attendants involved on October 21st.

As the participants included general managers, directors and coordinators who serve as employee supervisors, SIA decided to develop a Tug of War that emphasized the concept of team work.

All 350 participants got involved in the advergame and enjoyed the challenge. It was the first time that a technologically innovative solution of this kind was implemented among such a large group in Peru.

A large screen showed two groups on opposite sides of a rope. In a conference room, two clowns organized participants in two groups so that they could use their hands to help “move their team along.” Each team was represented by one of the onscreen groups. The faster the team members moved their hands, the harder the onscreen characters tugged on the rope.

“Conference participants got involved in the game with the help of the clowns. The level of participation and the enthusiasm was higher than expected and the game was a big hit. We are very please with the solution.”
