Squirt hired SIA Interactive to design a virtual promoter that presented the brand’s products at the most important points of purchases in Panama.

February 2008 – Panama.
The brand Squirt launched a summer ad campaign in different channels. As part of the campaign, SIA Interactive was asked to design and implement and interactive promo at different branches of the supermarket chain “El Rey” in Panama City.
To draw attention to Squirt soft drinks at the supermarket, SIA Interactive designed a “Virtual Promoter” that allowed potential clients to be contacted directly.
During the six weeks the promo lasted, 90% of the customers who went down the soft drink aisle purchased Squirt products. Sales were thus much higher than expected, causing a stir among supermarket employees who had to restock shelves with Squirt products much more frequently than usual.
Virtual Promoter
A screen showing an animated product bottle was installed on supermarket shelves. Shoppers were surprised to “run into” the promoter and laughed at the funny comments he made while describing the product’s features.
