As part of its goal to launch new products on the market in a novel and creative way while discovering more about consumers and making an impression on them, Maseca hired SIA Interactive to develop the interactive game Promo Cart.

The game was implemented in July and August at supermarkets with an affluence of Hispanic clientele in the state of Florida.

The cart was a big hit among shoppers. In fact, during the first weekend of the promo, a total of 8,447 people participated in the game.

Promocart: Trivia & Roulette

The game involved an interactive shopping cart that provided participants with information on the new Maseca flours in a fun, unique way.

The game was also designed to allow the company to get to know its consumers better since participants had to answer a series of questions in order to take their turn at the “Maseca Roulette”, which gave them the chance to take home a prize.
