August 2007 - Lima, Peru
As part of an environmental campaign launched by Speedy to protect native Peruvian fauna, agency Activa & Comunica hired SIA Interactive to implement an interactive game for kids.
The game was set in a virtual rain forest. Participants used a microphone and by screaming, they helped their chosen onscreen character (one of four rain forest animals) make its way through the rain forest.
The winners of each round received a prize and all winners participated in a drawing for a Sony PlayStation.
More than 120 children participated in the 5-hour day. Both children and parents alike were impressed with the exciting rain forest and animal graphics.
Besides the excitement over the prizes, people were informed about species in danger of extinction, while Speedy became more associated with the preservation of Peruvian fauna.
