June 2007 – Argentina
The daily Clarín was the main sponsor of Expoagro 2007, a rural trade show held in Argentina from May 14-18, 2007. The newspaper called upon SIA Interactive to come up with an interactive experience to promote the rural supplement Clarín Rural during the event.
A wireless trivia game was developed for the event. Up to five participants could play at a time.
The game screen displayed a series of questions related to rural activities and the participants had to select an option by pressing a button on their wireless remote control. The system developed by SIA identified the selection made by each participant, processed the information and displayed the winner on screen, based on how quickly the participant pressed the button and the number of correct answers.
Visitors to Expoagro waited in long lines to play and were very pleased with the promotional prizes given away by Clarín to winners.
