SIMO has become the second most important European tradeshow in the field of information technology. At SIMO, companies that provide professional applications, IT and telecommunications exhibit products, solutions and tools to make businesses more competitive and to improve the quality of life.
During the last edition of SIMO, more than 800 companies participated and nearly 300,000 visitors flocked to the exhibition. The 46th annual edition of SIMO includes the latest in products, solutions and services geared to advancing the IT society towards the future. The tradeshow invites IT professionals and the general public to come see the innovations to come.
The principal companies from the software and IT services industry come together at the Madrid fairgrounds, which also has a “Small Business Zone”, dedicated to bringing new technologies to small and medium-sized businesses.
SIA Interactive is back at SIMO again this year, implementing interactive solutions for 3 companies:
- For Lenovo, SIA installed one of its most recent products: the Virtual Host, which allows a 3-D character (in this case, a notebook) speak and interact with the people who visit the booth.
- A golf simulator for Telefónica.
- Three games for Macroservice, the ELO representative in Spain: Blackjack, Puzzle and Little Windows.
In addition, executives from the Madrid office and the Buenos Aires headquarters are visiting clients and suppliers, and presenting the developments that will be launched in 2007.
