Cingular, the largest cell phone company in the United States, sponsored the basketball finals of the NCAA. At the Final Four games held in Boston and Indianapolis this year, SIA Interactive set up 4 interactive kiosks with basketball videos that simulate the company’s MediaNet service.

March 2006 - USA

Cingular, an official sponsor of the NCAA basketball finals, launched the New Media Net NCAA March Madness campaign for the games. During the campaign, the firm presented its new Media Net Video service for cell phones.

SIA Interactive was selected to present an interactive solution of four kiosks showing basketball videos on demand. These were set up during the finals of the College Basketball Final Four in Boston and Indianapolis in a giant tent with entertainment for game goers.

A great number of participants opted for trying out this solution amidst a wide selection of other proposals. Cingular has already asked SIA to develop other solutions for upcoming sports events that the wireless services firm will sponsor.
