As part of an integral proposal made by the agency Visual Argentina, SIA Interactive developed five games that utilize SIA-Cameraction technology for the Coca-Cola booth at the Rural Expo 2005.
August 2005, Argentina
Coca-Cola Argentina was present at the 119th Agricultural and Industry Expo held from July 21st through August 2nd at the Palermo Fairgrounds. The booth was a recreational space called “La mesa de Coca-Cola” [The Coca-Cola Table] specially designed for the whole family. At the booth, visitors were invited to enjoy different games and entertaining activities.
Coca-Cola has been emphasizing its campaign “Every day is the day”, in which the brand focuses on the importance of week days and the need for there to be a special meal every day. As part of the campaign, the agency Visual Argentina put together a spectacular booth shaped like a giant table: within the “table”, there were five boxes to represent each day of the week.
The spaces had five different games projected on real “kitchen tables”, developed with the novel technology SIA-Cameraction, which allows players to interact with graphic applications. Cameraction captures a person's movements with a video camera and the player uses his/her own body as the mechanism for interaction.
The five games included Pacman, Simon, Screaming Race, Eliminate Obligations and Grab the Products.
Winners took home original Coca-Cola accessories to decorate their tables at home.
The results of the event were excellent, with constant lines of people waiting to participate. More than 65,000 visitors participated in the games during the 13 days of the expo.
“At this event, we wanted to emphasize the value of everyday meals, inviting visitors to discover the little things that can make these encounters even more special. Visual Argentina translated this concept into an original ideal, which was correctly interpreted, developed and implemented by SIA Interactive”.
