The home appliances retailer Red Megatone opened its third branch in the city of Salta. Once again, through its promotional agency M&C, the firm called upon SIA Interactive to implement the Megatone Mega-Safe, a promo similar to the one offered when the chain opened its second branch in this city.

To celebrate the inauguration of its 3rd branch in the city of Salta, Red Megatone held a major promotional event. During the week before the opening, numbered coupons were sent by mail and cut-out coupons appeared in the local newspaper El Tribuno. During the first three days after the inauguration, anyone who visited the branch with the cut-out coupons received a numbered ticket. Players then used these tickets to try to win an important prize by Philips.

To do so, players had to enter the ticket code on a number keyboard. If the door to the safe opened, a digital animation was shown on the plasma screen and the participant went in to receive one of the 24 prizes offered by the brand.

The main objective was to attract as many people as possible to the opening of the branch, in an event that would make people think of Megatone as modern and associate the brand with state-of-the-art technology. The fact that the objective was achieved is clear: more than 3,200 people waited in long lines to play the game during the three days scheduled for the event.
