July 2004 – Porto, Portugal.
SIA Sistemas has a new partner: I4B Interactive Marketing. Thanks
to this agreement, the firm has become a SIA VAR for distributing
its solutions in Portugal. For its launch, the Euro Virtual Penalty
2004 was developed for international beer brand Carlsberg.
As one of the principal sponsors of Euro 2004, Carlsberg was seeking
an innovative, high-impact solution as its principal promotional element
during the cup. After a call for international bids, Carlsberg chose
the solution proposed by I4B Interactive Marketing and SIA Sistemas.
This promotion took place before and during Euro 2004 in stadiums,
amusement parks, supermarkets and pubs, offering an unforgettable
experience for Carlsberg consumers.
During the game, participants get on a platform and don a virtual
reality helmet with a sensor and an additional foot sensor. After
a virtual tour around the stadium, the participants have a chance
to kick three penalty shots to become the winner in the Carlsberg
Euro 2004.
“SIA Sistemas has global experience in interactive marketing,
Advergaming, virtual reality and 3D technology. They are the ideal
partner for meeting the demands of our clients, with a significant
quantity of high-quality proposals. Thanks to this alliance, both
companies are now able to offer integral solutions based on solid
technology, creativity, global experience, knowledge of the local
market and services of the highest quality”.
