July 2004 – Buenos Aires, Argentina

Repsol-YPF is the most important fuel company in Argentina – and one of the largest in the world. As part of its leading position, YPF sponsors events related to the driving public, such as the TC and TC 2000 competitions. For such events, YPF boasts a 3-floor VIP sector where it offers diverse attractions for celebrities and special guests.

As part of this attraction, EITECH and SIA Interactive developed and installed a Multi-Player Car Race for 3 competing players. The SIA-MP1 Multiplayer Engine was utilized for this development.

Participants sit in the simulator seats and race along the motordrome track; track walls were personalized with YPF graphics. One of the race cars is that used by Walter Hernández, a race car driver sponsored by the company.

“We have worked alongside SIA Interactive for years in order to offer demanding clients like YPF high-quality service and a made-to-measure product. The results were excellent, and the client has expressed the firm's satisfaction.”

Ricardo Corn
EITECH Director
