On 20 November, 5 branches of sports goods store Martí inaugurated
their NIKE Tech Center. This multi-monitor touch-screen catalogue
tells the history of NIKE and offers clients an insider's peek at
the technology used in NIKE products.
November 2003 - Mexico.
NIKE is internationally recognized as a firm that sets itself
apart from its competitors. To do so, the firm is constantly
researching and developing cutting-edge technology in order
to incorporate it into its products; later, these often become
the industry standards.
As a result, NIKE called upon SIA Mexico to develop
a product that could meet both requirements: setting the brand
apart and using technology.
SIA responded with the NIKE
Tech Center, multi-monitor modules that have been up and
running at five branches at the chain Martí since November
2003.
The modules incorporate state-of-the-art technology. Each
has a central structure with four arms that hold flat touch-screen
monitors that function simultaneously.
Store visitors can
interact with all four monitors at the same time to find out
more about the history of NIKE and to get a glimpse at hundreds
of products with their description, technological overview,
and 360º photos.

who could make this idea a reality in terms of both the development
and the construction of the modules. At our very first meeting
