August 2003 - Mexico.

The new NIKE Shot soccer shoes are designed to offer sports lovers comfort, control, and speed for their game. To achieve this, Nike used all available technology when developing these shoes.

In order to promote the NIKE Shot upon their market launch, Nike asked SIA Mexico to come up with a solution that would attract soccer players. They were also searching for a solution that would give shoe wearers an idea of the technology that this product includes.

In response to this demand, SIA Mexico developed a game based on the well-known dance machines that are all the rage with adolescents. However, in this case, participants accompany the dancing with a 3-D soccer game in which they have to dribble the ball, get close to the net and make a goal, or perform tricks with the ball. If players step on the right place on the platform and keep to the rhythm, the onscreen character achieves the objectives at each level.

Dance platforms designed for continuous use were constructed. These platforms were installed in a truck that is visiting different soccer stadiums in Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara.

"Since NIKE products are continuously incorporating more technology, we needed someone in the promotions business with the capacity for developing technological solutions that impact our consumers. SIA Mexico was exactly what we were looking for".
