February 2003 - Mexico City, Mexico.
The promotion was based on a 3-D game starring the friendly
Nestlé Trix cartoon character. Players had
to travel along a bicycle path while collecting the brand's
products.
One of the most attractive characteristics of the game was
that participants played the game by pedaling and steering
a real bicycle.
SIA México installed 22 bicycles, one in each branch, to execute the
game.
The participation depended on product purchase, and Nestlé promotional prizes were awarded, as were
several home appliances such as microwaves, TVs and DVD
players.
"Our consumers really enjoyed playing this game. It is entertaining
and attractive, and it operates with ourTrix cartoon
character and makes use of realism and fantasy, a combination
that people really enjoyed".
